I say just outright ask him. Be like hey you seem kinda distant, and I was wondering what’s up or if you’re ok That forces him to say anything he isn’t bringing up. You might get an answer you don’t want but you deserve someone who will match your energy for you as you do for them. I guess I’d rather spend my time with someone genuine as opposed to them feeding into a bubble of fantasy for my sake. Also I’m super sorry if this comes off super harsh, I’m really blunt.

He’s everything I want and need and truly just perfect. When he text me it’s kind of short yet sweet unlike before when it was constant and he always made sure to talk to me at least 3 times out of the day. I’m not sure what to do. I don’t want to keep bothering him as if I’m begging for him to respond but I want to make it clear that I’m still very interested in him. Should I be worried there is someone else or simply maybe he’s busy or just not interested?
