I really don’t like that my mom got a dog. Took great care of her for a year, and now that shes bored with her, leaves for a week at a time for my brother and i to take care of. 2 people she /knows/ never wake up early. Its unfair to the dog

of course we wake up and keep the dog’s routine, dont worry. But i will never have a living thing depend on me again once i move out

I’ll never understand how people just get bored of their pets. They’re supposed to become your family. My cat is literally my life 😭

See that’s really fucked up. I’m like that with video games and apps nowadays and like toys when I was child but when I got a dog I’ve never been like that since day one and I used to b the type to wake up at 2pm and go to sleep at 4am. Why get something that alive and needs constant care if you won’t care for it? My sister had a fish before and she loved it about as much as she loves our dog now. Maybe your mom should’ve started with something easier

she got it completely on a whim but my dad hates the dog, so now that their kids are older, they go on more solo vacations and leave the dog behind :/ my moms had a dog before that died when i was abt 6 and she herself admits they didn’t treat that dog as well as it deserved… Its why im hesitant to move out. shes a big dog i cant just take her
