unpopular opinion: there's such thing as too many kids. I support ppl wanting or not wanting kids (I do), but there comes a point where you know that the parent(s) can not provide adequate love and care to each child. it's unfair to the kids.
yes, if someone has enough money, sure they can "support" their kids. But with so many, there will be favoritism, there will be resentment, there just isn't enough individual time needed with each child to go around.

kids need parental support. kids need one on one time with their parents. kids need to feel like individuals, like they're prioritized by their parent(s). love isn't a finite resource, but time and energy are.

I love kids and want some of my own. But when that time comes, I'll need to assess my own abilities, competence, energy, and time so I can care for a child in the way they need, and not overdo it. it takes self awareness and it takes selflessness.
