Interesting fact: most matcha sold in the US is culinary grade, which basically means ass-quality matcha that isn’t really meant for making the drink but gets used to flavor stuff like mochi or ice cream. Good matcha is ceremonial grade, which they don’t use at most restaurants/shops bc it’s dummy expensive in the US. So you are correct but maybe not in the way u thought
Only time I like matcha is when it’s iced and mixed with lemonade. I suggest trying it out one day! If you still don’t like it, cool, but I hate matcha, and the mixture is one of my favorite drinks! Green tea mixed with lemonade is yummy too if that sounds better suited to your palette😁
