I was on the NEXPLANON and currently on the DEPO shot. They both seem great for -me-, didn’t really notice any side effects

I’m on the combo pill. Did wonders for my acne but kinda ruined my sex drive (might not be importantly to you) and also exacerbated my mood swings around my periods

hey!! i’m on a pill i can totally give the name if u want i have to look. i don’t rlly have any side effects other than mood swings but that goes away after the first month or two. i had a friend get an implant in her arm and it made her gain a lot of weight. i like the pill, u just have to remember to take it at a certain time every day for it to work properly and have regular periods. hope i could help:)

Hii so I’ve tried pretty much everything birth control except for an IUD but they all are different in their own ways. Plus, they’ll react differently in every body. What works for someone may not work for someone else. I think the better question is, are you a do it and leave it kind of person? Or a person who can remember to take something every day/change something here and there? What’s your life style like?

the two ive taken and loved are aurovela (estrogen based) and slynd (progesterone based) aurovela didnt cause any side effects but i had to stop taking it bc of high blood pressure but slynd is a great progesterone option esp bc it has a 24hr period for you to miss unlike other mini pills 😊

I have the nuvaring and I love it! The only side affect I noticed was some minor weight gain! Literally so perfect if you ask me :)

Im on nexplanon, my period was longer than it ever has been but also lighter, the mood swings are real, you get irritated more easily. The other day i was also hangry after not eating the whole day and felt genuinely homicidal. Other than that tho the raw sex is so worth it

I have nuvaring and I’ve exclusively had positive side effects after the initial adjustment. However, each method is available because it’s the right one for someone’s body. It can take a few tries to get the right one for you, but there are methods that more frequently result in certain side effects. Are there ones you especially want or don’t want?
