The dunkin ad made no sense tbh with that gene crap tho but it still isn't a big deal. There are better things to worry about

i mean at least people are acknowledging things that happened in the past and are trying to prevent whats happened before. i do think the ads are weird and totally understand why people feel off about it. like you said, the dunkin one doesn’t make sense at all but the AE one could’ve easily been something different if they had made a bunch of the same ad but with people of different ethnicities.

Ya see i think the ad was just a bad ad honestly. And if they did multiple different poc it may have been better. I just think AE didnt INTEND to be all eugenic. I honestly think they just said that cause shes the big hot girl rn so it'd be popular.
