mozzarella sticks and corn dogs take a while to cook. CARHOPS are the ones who get yelled at, cussed out, and stiffed on tips when shit takes a while. like, “sorry, you’re the fifth person in a ROW to order 6 corn dogs and 5 pretzels. it was gonna be a minute”. and don’t even get me started on bogo foot long or 99cent corn dog days.

I have worked at three fast food chains, two restaurants, even housekeeping… Sonic was by FAR the worst place I’ve ever worked. They hate their employees.

ALSO all of these damn standards that we have to stick to or else we fail secret shops or audits. god forbid we drop an extra sauce in a bag or an extra lime wedge in a limeade. or don’t say “hit the red button if you need anything”. god i hate that. i’ve literally had customers respond with “yeah i know im not stupid”. anyway this is my official rant after a shitty shift

GENUINELY. they’re also about to enforce upselling and they’ll have to fire me before i start doing that. my gm just naught a new truck and i can barely afford groceries. fuck him if he thinks i’m upselling
