He’s not actually he feels horrible but academic stress makes any issue feel ten times worse 😭 I’d also like to add I brought the issue up when i probably should’ve waited until post test, he’s just not beating the stereotypes with this one

No actually like yes I’m valid for bringing this up when I’m hurt but why I didn’t wait until after idk 😭 I literally texted ā€œI can’t do this I have a test tomororwā€ then continued to do it lmfao

It was mostly a small thing that’s just slowly built up over time, I’ve brought it up some but I should’ve advocated for myself better. I can be bad at not saying something until it’s too much to handle and he’s very clueless at times so if u don’t bring soemthing up he won’t know. This was one of the rare instances in which I brought something up but not in a way that clearly explained it hurt me, he thought it was a more specific issue and to me it was a more general issue.

Like he’s in the wrong for not fixing things after the first time but also we’re human, it’s not like I’ve never done the same to him.

Even worse we’ve joked that we have a date curse where we argue before every date we have then realized I either start on, right before, or right after 80% of our dates so 😭

Also I’m adding this isn’t just like blind faith in the man, there’s been times in the past where it took a bigger argument to fully find the root of the problem and get on the same page for both of us, and after this we’re both good at making sure the mistake doesn’t happen again! If anyone is reading this do NOT use this to justify your man making you feel shitty and not consistently changing, I’m only so graceful because he’s proven he will change!

I understand. Also some advice because I also can struggle to explain how I’m feeling or what I need. 1. You could write it out to kinda have a script instead of searching for a way to explain it, and I’ve also some used AI to try to find the clearest way to explain it

Oh yeah no I’m not using Ai. Thanks no thanks my cognitive abilities aren’t impaired and part of a relationship is learning things with another human, not having 15 different Reddit sources tell me how to feel.

lol so that’s no what I said. It’s just writing out what you feel and want to say, and then ask if that makes sense or if there are any missing areas or anything that could be misinterpreted

Yeah, again, things I can do on my own. I don’t need Ai to do that. I’m much more capable of forming my own feelings in a way that’s true to myself and understandable to my partner than a soulless ai is that knows neither of us. Also, fucking up helps you grow. I’m good at knowing how to word things to my partner because it’s taken trial and error, ai defeats that and gives you an answer anyone could get and you lose that specificity and deeper understanding of them. Using Ai in a relationship šŸ‘Ž

Well you said you have trouble advocating for yourself. That’s communication, and from what I’ve learned the typical ā€œI have an issueā€ text or talk doesn’t get through to them bc it isn’t explicit ā€œI’ve been wanting to talk to you because I feel like I haven’t really been heard lately, and I’m sure that’s partially my fault. And I don’t want to say you’ve been a bad boyfriend or hurt you. But I feel hurt. And lately things just haven’t felt the same and I feel it in my heart…blah blah blahā€

Also you’re doing a disfavor to yourself by having something tell you how to fix things or how to word things. Part of growth is doing things on your own until you get them right. The skills I’ve built up with my boyfriend have allowed me to benefit in all walks of life, especially recognizing when something is being miscommunicated/understood and apologizing and clarifying. If I always had ai telling me what to say, this skill wouldn’t be as developed. Also AI is geared to agree with you bro

The ramble is all over the place and they lose track of what the actual problem is. Guys need blunt honesty if you want to see a change

Yeah, and by talking with my partner and making mistakes we both learn each other better. An ai takes this away because it streamlines the process. Because I’ve learned how to formulate a conversation specifically for him, i can get my points across it the way I need that he’ll get. Obviously we’re human and make mistakes and we don’t always get it right immediately, but that just offerers more chance to grow together.

Again I don’t think you’re understanding, I’m never saying to have it write something for you. Just analyze a response before sending it to see if it comes across the same way you intended it to. But to each their own. It saves a lot of unintended drama and tears over little problems that could have been simply solved before unintentionally blowing up

Uhh maybe YOUR man, my man isn’t a fucking 4 y/o and has an attention span and cares for me and he listens. The only issue is that sometimes I’m not clear on my wording, or tone carries differently over text, or he may misunderstand my point. This exclusively happens over text because in person it’s a lot easier to understand one another. It has nothing to do with him needing ā€œblunt honestlyā€ and all to do with the fact we’re different humans with different biases who read things differently-

Also fucking dumb af because an ai cannot read text the way a human will, it cannot guess what tone your partner will read it in because it doesn’t know your partner. It doesn’t know what words you use when you’re pissed that you don’t realize you use, it doesn’t know how you behave in person, it doesn’t know what past experiences your partner has that could make them read what you said differently. YOU know these things and can formulate a good response and have ai check it, but it still -

Lmao see how easily you got pissed off you got from a calm conversation pointing out different views. Going to insults when you disagree with someone. More a a social experiment tbh since you mentioned that you struggled with advocating for yourself. It’s it an option, yes, is it a good option, no. Maybe you and your partner can communicate better if you keep your cool and advocate for yourself opinions with reasoning than bringing yourself up with hurtful words, it’ll get you farther in life

Girl, you don’t get it. I don’t use AI to communicate with my partner. Social experiment. That’s what I love about this app. It’s like a mask. I can say something I know people will intentionally disagree with. Watch them all get in an uproar and have a lengthy argument for entertainment purposes. It’s like seeing how people act without any social pressure because it’s anonymous. Thanks for the entertainment and have a great day girl

The fact that Southpark of all things made a skit on this exactly says a lot about today’s society. Again I don’t use AI, but out of curiosity, what happens if someone admits to it? How much hate does it get? Does anyone defend it? Social experiment
