For anyone here that has gained weight, how do you not let it get to you? I’ve definitely put on some weight from stress eating and it’s definitely fucked with my self esteem. I hope it’s ok for me to ask this here lol.

Maybe it’s just me being an artist, but I’ve seen/ been around so many nude paintings. I just see woman’s bodies as beautiful art pieces- not in an objectifying way, but in an admirable way. Like I’ve seen beautiful art of woman all shapes and sizes. It kinda put things in a new perspective for me and made me admire my curves and my tummy. I just tell myself that I’m like the woman in those paintings too, a work of art.

I just tell myself I feel better and that most people aren’t looking at my body so critically so they probably can’t even tell I gained weight

other than all the affirmations and mental steps, try to make sure you wear clothes that fit you. i always find that when i gain weight and try to wear my old clothes i just end up hating the way i look. but whenever i put on clothes that fit me and feel good i don’t feel so bad anymore

My body is just a vessel to hold my soul and my thoughts, I can decorate it and do fun stuff with it but as long as it’s healthy it doesn’t matter what it looks like
