I had the arm implant for multiple years, it really stopped my cramping however about half way through I started bleeding multiple times a month (still worth it because it took again my pain)!

for a couple weeks I had bad mood swings (I was also in high school so hormones were a bit different), I eventually leveled out. You should be able to get a bit of arm numbing so it isn’t as painful to get it inserted!

I have super awful and long periods with insane cramps. I am sexually active so I do want something to prevent pregnancy and hopefully not lower my sex drive. Also I am super squeamish about inserting something like that nuvaring.
