You can always leave before the two weeks is up if you are ok with not getting paid for that time. I put in a two week notice once but ended up quitting on the spot the same day because I just couldn’t take anymore. Just don’t use them as a reference in your job search.

Oof. That does make the decision harder. It is possible to get a job with no references, maybe a little harder. I had to quit on the spot because the job endangered my health. I never even put it on my resume. Only you know the best decision will be. Either way best of luck with whatever path you choose
