I need help. I’m working right now to obtain my licenses to be a financial advisor and need extra money so I applied for a part time position. The hours are super weird and never promised but they offered me a job, should I take it?

The first week I have to go in 5 days in a row for training even though I’m only part time

True but they are incredibly understaffed and honestly for me it’s this or nothing because I’m unsure of the time commitment my main career of financial advising will take up after I get licensed

Is it a foodservice job by chance? I’ve had similar experiences applying to work in restaurants. They hired me on the spot because they were short staffed, and management was pretty shitty. But I got a flexible schedule that worked w my other job and made some extra cash, even though it sucked. I’d take it temporarily

No it’s a front desk position at a high end gym nearby. They told me that I have to use the amenities before or after shifts so members can see that the “employees love it here too” lol, I think I may just take it and hope for the best

Oh got it. I’ve also worked in a gym for a year actually at the front desk too. It was so boring I wanted to scream sometimes but I’d still take the job for some extra cash
