One girl and I were talking about body image issues and when it was my turn to vent she sent a pic of herself in a bikini saying “I’m not skinny” YOU ARE A SIZE 6 STFU. I’m plus-size so this kind of annoyed me honestly because there was no fat anywhere on her body. Insecurities are valid but that just felt off to me

i feel bad about this but i never joined bumble bff bc i have stereotyped the people who would join it. which is hypocritical bc im absolutely someone who could benefit from it

Or some of the girls just seem immature. Some of them I’ve added on other social medias and post cringey middle school stuff on their PUBLIC stories. I mean stuff on the same level as sad Bart edits and “no one hmu only the real ones know what’s up” we are in our early 20s

Honestly valid. I tried to keep an open mind because there aren’t too many girls in my classes so it’s hard for me to make more girl friends in school. I’ve met girls who are in the same boat, or focused more on school than social events, new to the area, or just need some friends

I haven’t met any irl YET. It’s just been a lot of phone tag and of course the girls I really got along with stopped replying after a while unfortunately

Yeah I’d encourage it. Nothing wrong with putting yourself out there at least :) the worst thing that happens is that you don’t meet anyone but you never know!
