thats always a possibility tbh. Im a queer leftist still living in my hometown so i thought i was gonna be alone forever if i left him. But its either stay and waste more time hoping something will change, or leave and love yourself again and open that door for someone better to come along

Ngl, I started dating my bf a few weeks after breaking up with my ex (I was so checked out of that relationship for months) - go at your pace of healing, and honestly friends make wonderful partners. My bf and I were friends for 5/6 months before dating :)
