tbh now that im grown and know religion is more complex than asking for stuff and getting it idk 🤷‍♀️ ive become more religious/spiritual in an agnostic type of way, it's nice having something to believe in and help anchor down your hopes you know but i think the majority of people just focus too much on scripture in a literal way

i feel like this is very black and white thinking tbh, sometimes there's only so much you can do regardless of the situation. I dont think there's anything wrong with telling people to pray or think about the things going on, i think that even helps us process the things we're going through or seeing other people experience in the same way that you go to a therapist to help you process your trauma
