very hot take: i feel like after you have 3 or more kids it leads to unintentional emotional neglect bc you can’t give all of them the same amount of attention as the others… esp if there are babies involved.

caretaking usually falls on the oldest kids and the parents don’t parent or have time for all of the kids so someone is bound to be “neglected”

Theres like just no possible way for you to have enough time to adequately raise 12 kids, showing the same amount of attention or even relatively the same amount of attention to each kid. Parentification of the older kids will happen practically every single time. And also as the kids age parents just get more and more lazy and never raise the youngest kids the way they raised the oldest
