Scenario 1) He’s extremely insecure in his lack of friends and projects it onto you. He’ll either become a helicopter boyfriend in the sense that he hovers over you in social settings cuz he’s afraid of interacting with new people, or he’ll get really quiet and talk to absolutely no one, including you, so *YOU* feel bad for him. Scenario 2) You have ALL of the same friends. When you break up, your friends will inevitably “pick sides.”

And I could go on and on about this… but at the end of the day, don’t let your man’s lack of friends impact YOUR life. He needs his own friends. You have a life together, but you need to be able to exist on your own. And if he’s not able to do that… you gotta go

Yes my brother had a girlfriend who had no life outside of him. No fault to her, she was really sick in high school and her parents are so sheltered. It became an issue eventually so he broke up with her. I think they were apart for a year, she grew so much as a person and not for my brother but for herself. Her own friends, hobbies, interests, etc. they’re getting married next year.
