So she’s trying to plan a wedding for spring of 2027 and is currently trying to pick out a venue. The issue starts with the fact that she’s trying to pick a venue in a city over an hour away in another state “for a mountain view” even though we are less than an hour away from our state’s mountains. That in and of itself isn’t the full issue, that’s the city being fairly expensive. One of the venues they looked at was 10k just to be on the property! Sure they have over a year to plan but it’s not

quite sinking in that they can get what they want for cheaper if they just switch locations. It would also be easier for family because both families live closer to them and wouldn’t have to travel as far if they pick more locally.
