i hate sounding like a pick me but why is it so hard for me to bond with other girls? :( i feel like most of my friends are boys but i really want a female friendship and a girls day. any advice?? is it me?

I also feel like every time I get really close they end up stabbing me in the back. My last best friend tried to ruin my life after it stopped being politically/morally convenient for me to be Jewish. I just try to be nice to everyone and now I’m 24 I have like 3 friends i occasionally see and talk to. They’re all the super busy but around when you need them type and idk if I’ll ever have a best friend again…..

i think my issue is that i feel awkward unless i’m comfortable with someone. i feel like my humor is more similar to “boy humor” so that might also be a factor? i can’t seem to make other girls laugh and that’s always the signal for a possible friendship to me i thought😅🥲

It honestly feels so pathetic to say my man is my best friend but for myself it’s definitely true. I feel like your life partner should be your bff but I do also miss what it’s like to have a girl bff

no i get that! im the same way. honestly you might wanna try befriend more alt or gay women lol, i really wasn’t ever closer with any girls in school until i met my friends (and gf) now!
