It’s is a valid concern and people have every right to feel some type of way…but I never found it a big deal when writers like Shonda Rhines, Mindy Kaling, Jenny Han. etc. have white men play the love interest 🤐

yeah especially in the age of people getting mad about interracial dating and marriage and men tending to go for white women like is it really that big of a deal? ohhh nooo!! the hot people are dating hot people!!!

We have like barely a handful of mainstream woc showrunners, yet they are the ones attacked the most for not giving enough representation, rather than showrunners and writers who straight up have no representation. Like you can feel a way about how Mindy Kaling writes desi women, but at least she is casting desi women as leads!
