I'd say more people are uneducated about things. As a medical professional I'd hope you'd have a different perspective then perceiving them as dumb

A lot of people are scared of the doctors, and grew up in a system where they don't trust the medical system. It's very deep rooted and the lack of education from a young age is what drives that thinking later on in life.
