The show Sandman on Netflix is so funny because what do you mean he imprisoned his ex-girlfriend/literal queen baddie in Hell for 10,000 years for rejecting his marriage proposal instead of getting therapy?

This is the first time I’m hearing of this, but I can tell from your plot explanation that this had to be written by a woman. There’s no way the men are self aware enough to know that if a man could do anything to avoid therapy, he would 💀💀

The original comics were created by a man in the 80s. I’ll have to check to see who is writing the Netflix show specifically. But yeah. The character is literally the Sandman/king of dreams. In the show he is showing some emotional growth/self-awareness…so I do think that a woman is behind it. 😂

He’s the showrunner for Netflix too apparently. I feel low key sick? They are making such a point of casting “strong women” (like Gwendolyn Christie as Lucifer). But now it just seems like he’s trying to save face.

I could tell that the source material was written by a man before I knew anything for certain. It’s a shame that he was such an awful person irl. I also can tell that there are female writers on the staff at Netflix too. Aspects of the scripts are way too good to come from Neil. 😂
