idc how normal it becomes or how the beauty standard morphs to it, i will never get cosmetic surgery or injections. no hate to anyone who wants it or has it, if u like it i love it. but theres smthn about it for myself that i just cant get on board with.

They’re not the ones making people insecure, that’s almost exclusively the social media industry. Personally, my noticeably asymmetrical breasts have always made me insecure since I got them, but instead of making the smaller one larger, I want to get the “cosmetic” surgery of breast reduction on the larger one and get them to match… (totally *not* a sensory issue thing /s) And my insecurity about them started long before my parents allowed me to know about the cosmetic surgery industry or…

Any social media. I think the industry simply takes people who are already insecure and tries to help them feel a bit more comfortable in their own skins.
