Fuck that’s rough, but understandable. My parents spent $2700 in July on a couch, ottoman, side table, desk, and dining table with 6 chairs for my apartment. That was considered my college graduation gift plus past few birthdays (I was holding off on gifts bc I wanted laser hair removal, but getting my own place for grad school then became top priority)

And I spent $1800 on a mattress and stupid bed frame I don’t even like that much and it makes me sick every time I think about it. I hate this part of being an adult😭
