oh brother. since what i said clearly needed clarification, i was saying it is in fact bad that people do not anticipate risks of sti transmission in monogamous relationships when it has been happening for literally ever.

in short: telling people who are “bops” to get tested as a gotcha is unnecessarily derisive and *everyone* should get tested

i think this was my post which i deleted cuz someone (not the op of this post) was being icky & slut shaming women. she was justifying calling women “disgusting” and “bops” and said something about STIs. this person said STIs can happen to anyone having sex (in relationships or otherwise)

i guess she deleted it, but basically, someone posted a ss of a guy saying “being a bop isn’t feminism, ur disgusting go get tested” or something like that. the oop was saying it’s wrong to call people disgusting for their sexual choices, i mentioned it’s also bad to use “get tested” as a gotcha and to treat sti’s as something that only “bops” get
