i have and as long as you’re working 3 hours or less during the week and working more on weekends, you can easily work about 20 hours a week and manage school work. i’d suggest taking online or asynchronous classes when you can, and having at least 2 days off (i usually do sundays and a day in the middle of the week) to give yourself a break and enough time to get hw done and study. i made enough to cover groceries and gas. if you need enough for rent, i suggest getting a meal plan and walking

I almost died but I was majoring in chemical engineering and then working part time as an energy engineer. I worked ~50 hours a week in fast food while I was in high school and it was fine. You can rest your brain when work is busy and you can study and do homework when work is slow (just gotta find somewhere that has slow periods. I did Bojangles and was a receptionist at a funeral home, both of which were mostly downtime)

If your college offers any student job opportunities on campus, definitely try for those if you can, they tend to be a bit more flexible

Yeah you’ll be chilling as you should have a lot of independent time with that
