i just don’t like the art style i’m ngl or really how anything looks aesthetically. every single other anime that he’s shown me i’ve been obsessed with. currently watching black clover cuz of him and it’s the best anime i’ve ever seen in my life but i just can’t get behind one piece and i feel bad

Maybe you could compromise with the Netflix adaption? Since it's some of the story he loves but in live action so you don't have to look at the normal art style

he’s already tried i can’t stand any live action anime if i’ve seen how it looks animated already 😭 im just picky about my anime and that is just my least favorite. i’ve enjoyed every single other anime he’s shown me tho! spy family was great and we’re watching this new one about trash and giving life to objects? only 2 episodes out idk the name but it’s sick as FUCK
