Is in heavy denial that we have broken up. It’s been almost 2 weeks but he’s refused to tell anyone and says we need to talk more

But I’m not in a mental space where I’m very good to talk and he shuts down when we try to talk, so it just sucks and we get nowhere again

If I go no contact, I loose the only people I am actually friends with in town and my best friend of 3 years as well as like the only support system I have in the area. If we keep hanging out together it’s only going to hurt him.
