turns out its OCD yayyyyy
went to a new psychiatrist today and he hit me with a “we’re doing an adhd assessment in 3 weeks” completely unprompted….

If your psych is cool its worth mentioning! Thats how we found out about mine. I mentioned I got tested for it as a child and he was like “….pause”

I did my ocd assessment via telehealth while at my local clinic. All I had to do was mention to my doctor my symptoms. (was also pretty cheap compared to most psych visits and therapists)

They actually often overlap (OCD, ADHD, AND Autism often overlap). I recommend researching to see if you are experiencing overlap symptoms or separate, more OCD aligned symptoms. It’s also pretty quick to get an assessment at the dr through telehealth if you aren’t currently in therapy or have a psychiatrist.
