My sister “invited” the wedding party and families to make a toast at her wedding and then just told us it’s required. The wedding is a week away and idk what to say, I didn’t want to be a bridesmaid or do public speaking, I’m losing my mind

doesn’t have to be long!! say a few nice words about your childhood, her being your best friend, being happy that you got to watch her grow up and find love with someone who makes her happy, and you love her

We’re 5 years apart and we’re never really close, so I really don’t know what to say, I especially don’t know how to not cry during it, I’ve cried at every big moment of her life because I was so happy for her and im trying so hard to reel it in 😭

i think crying a little during it is ok :) it’s sweet for someone to love you so much their happiness brings you to tears
