Being bombed, shot at, having your entire life uprooted and watching you’re entire family being murdered is not comparable to having a father shot. Yes they are both awful, but you don’t compare that kind of shit.

2 children lost their father today. I would hope people would be feeling the same amount of pain for them as children is Gaza or Yemen or Sudan

It’s saying you should feel the same way about both situations, feel the same amount of pain. That is trying to make them the same in some way, comparing

I know what empathy is, and the empathy I feel is different in both those situations and is not comparable

okay that is you specifically. And no it’s not saying one tragedy was worse than the other it’s saying that empathy should be extended to the people and family affected by both. Again for the 3rd time, it’s still not comparing tragedies in terms of “which was worse”
