you do realize that hunting is a form of population control and we lowkey need it. also, i dont think hunters are even allowed to kill baby animals like rabbits and deer

I get what ur saying op there’s a difference between ppl who hunt for fun bc they enjoy killing animals and the ones who do it for food

There’s a massive deer problem in many states. There’s massive prey animal problems everywhere. If people don’t hunt the ecosystem will collapse and everything will die. So do you want all animals in an ecosystem to die? You clearly are fucking stupid as shit

Tell me you know nothing about hunting without telling me you know nothing about hunting. Like no hunter is magdumping a bunny nest they're just controlling local populations and preventing disease and overpopulation

Bullshit it’s the exact same format. Regardless that’s not how hunting works. You aren’t allowed to kill babies and no hunter is risking their license to do so.

To report his ass to your local game warden. If he’s really killing baby animals he would get his license revoked. If you really cared about the animals you would be filing a report not making unsubstantiated claims on fucking YikYak at midnight.

That’s called sport hunting, and even in sport hunting you can’t hunt baby animals. It’s not only against regulations doing so risks your hunting license being revoked, fines, and even jail time. No one’s saying it can’t be an ick just that OP is spreading misinformation

Illegal =/= it doesn’t happen. Ur doing expert level semantics. We know what she means by hunting for fun and as an Oklahoma gal there is definitely many guys who do that thinking its cool. No respect for the animal. Posing with their bodies like its a joke.

upvote 5 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #10 3w

Yeah but when it’s illegal it’s not sport hunting, it’s poaching. Look I’m from the South and I hate the posing as too, but I’m not confusing poaching with hunting and spreading misinformation because a guy sent me a snap I didn’t like.

sorry but i’m with op on this one. why would the screenshot a random snapchat when a) i clearly upset them so why would they want to save it and b) the guy would know she screenshotted it which most people wouldnt want.

plus i personally had literally never heard of game wardens until this post so its very plausible op wouldnt think to report it

if one can't google "report a ___ crime" (where ___ can be anything, such as "wildlife", "fishing" or "hunting") it's a skill issue doing exactly that led me right to the US Fish and Wildlife Service page for reporting wildlife crimes

upvote 6 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #4 3w

yes i understand how google works. what i’m saying is you wouldn’t necessarily know it’s a crime based on a singular snapchat photo and you probably wouldn’t know where that photo was taken. you would not have details like location or what exactly you witnessed. so again why would you think to report it?

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #4 2w

i’m not defending op in general, i just think it’s silly to assume that because they didnt take a screenshot they must be lying. if i got a snapchat of someone doing something fucked up i would probably be too shocked to do anything other than exit the app. most people’s instinct upon seeing something disturbing is not “wow i should gather information and go through the proper channels to report this”

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #8 2w

they literally didn’t say anything about deer so where is this coming from. also, crazy to assume that every single man who hunts for sport has the pure intentions of supporting the local ecosystem. you are extremely naive if you dont think plenty of men kill just for the fun of it.

upvote 5 downvote

Anonymous replying to -> #11 2w

idc about screenshots or snapchat. it's not their responsibility for reasons you listed and more (including their own safety if it's real which i doubt)

upvote 0 downvote

Anonymous replying to -> #4 2w

okay but then why wouldn’t it be real. like i’m not taking internet strangers as the gospel truth but this seems like a silly thing to lie about. like it seems more plausible to me that someone somewhere is hunting for fun unethically than that op would make it up for no reason.
