I always ask to use the plastic one and my dr uses the pediatric one too so im not stretched to one end of the state to the other

I had my first gyno appointment last year (I’m 21) and i literally felt like my uterus coulda popped out of my stomach. I never want to go back.

yeah, the one mine used was plastic and I think she said she used the small one, but it still feels like I’m being ratcheted open and it’s extremely uncomfortable

The worst part is when they do the pap and you kinda feel like you have to sneeze when they swap and then the pinch. Hurts like an SOB

YES omfg when i got my IUD i literally threw up from the pain and having the speculum in made me feel hollow and so uncomfortable
