idk hinge, can you say in your preferences if youre looking for friends or a relationship? but also no guy pays for everything on the first time meeting a guy friend to hangout.

we went out to lunch and then walked around the mall. normally i would think this is a just friends thing but we matched on hinge and he payed for lunch and ice cream

I would 100% ask. You could word it like hey just wanna check and see where you’re head was at and if we’re in the same page, was the other day just a hang out or was it date

no i cant do that i REALLY like him and i don’t want him to think i’m weird. if he doesn’t like me back and he didn’t think it was a date then he’ll think i’m crazy and obsessed

But wouldn’t you rather found out sooner than later to know if it’s a waste of time or not? You could reiterate you had a great time and you hope you can do it again and see what he says and then ask if it was just a hangout or whatever. I feel like yall gotta communicate about what’s going on and if you met off hinge then I feel like you have every right to be like yo was it a date. But you gotta do it in a way that’s you yk
