I live in Orlando and i go to Disney a lot. There are meant ducks that live at Disney and they’re very friendly at the parks. But the amount of boys I see displaying violent behavior towards the ducks is terrifying

“Boys will be Boys” had been detrimental to society. I want to emphasize that I’ve never seen a little girl doing this, only the boys. And the parents think it’s funny. Why do we enable violent behaviors in boys? Bc it’s scary seeing these young boys being violent to an innocent animal

i used to work with children and often it was our most frustrated and anxious boys that would display violence toward ducks and other small animals. a reminder that violence is not an innate condition of masculinity, but a reaction to emotional neglect and frustration. let’s be kind to our boys instead of implying misandric ideology about men/boys being inherently violent.

No one was being misandric or implying boys being inherently violent. It’s an observation that the boys are being violent with ducks as compared to girls. Whether you’re being neglected or not, that doesn’t give anyone the right to display that behavior towards animals. How about instead of justifying their behavior by “let’s be kind to our boys,” we teach kids to keep their hands to themselves🤨

maybe it’s kindness to teach boys to be kind to animals. maybe children are KIDS and react badly to bad parenting. where in there did i excuse animal abuse??? maybe we shouldn’t let our dissatisfaction with men guide how we treat boys, who, to clarify, frankly don’t know any better?

I don’t know whose ass you’re pulling “dissatisfaction with men” from, as you are the one constantly putting words in others mouths and posts by implying what is not there.

It was simply an observation that OP made that boys were being aggressive. However you are excusing bad behavior in the form of “a reminder that violence is not an innate condition of masculinity, but a reaction to emotional neglect and frustration. Let’s be kind to our boys.” In no way shape or form did you say that teaching boys to be kind to animals is kindness , which makes it appear as if you are excusing bad behavior by reason of poor parenting and home life

Girls are raised in bad environments with bad parents as well, so let’s clarify that too. However it is OP’s observation that they have not seen a girl do it. However OP is not there every single minute of every single day, so if they had seen a girl do it, they would have likely mentioned that in the post as well

???? girl you’re dumb ash if you can’t read between the lines and think that i’m excusing animal abuse. and even if you misread that i literally stated it for you directly. MYYYYYY experiences (!!!) were that boys that were violent towards ducks were raised in what seemed to be neglectful households. if girls there were too, they showed it in a different way that i didn’t see. ffs any excuse to shit on men and boys. you sound dumb ash

I am so terribly sorry you have to keep replying to reinvent your argument. My apologies that my responses irked you. “Any excuse to shit”—please come back with an actual argument, as well as proper grammar and punctuation. Have a lovely night😘
