I have 2 costumes for Halloween this year (which is bad enough), but in my defense it’s because I got invited to a party with a theme. And the one I REALLY want to wear does NOT work for the theme.

You seriously think a costume has lost its value after one night? This is what I mean when I say consumerism has rotted our brains. You don’t need to buy three separate costumes and then throw them away after Halloween is over. Literally no one will remember your costumes a week after Halloween but your costumes will still be in a landfill thousands of years from now.

And imo 3 costumes is REALLY pushing it, like it really fucking depends why you’d want 3 different costumes 💀 like is there a really strict dress code for the office or school party? And did you get invited to a certain themed party? And do you have a costume you REALLY want to wear that doesn’t work for either of those settings? Then sure I guess that’s fine.. but if you’re just talking about ppl who literally just buy 3+ different costumes for pictures… uhh yeah, that’s ridiculous 💀

Because money exists and not everyone can afford more than one costume… I mean if you can afford it, then go for it. But I think it’s more practical to stick to 1 costume. And if it gets dirty, then just wash it 🤷‍♀️

Girl..just wash it? And depending on how long you’re in the costume and how much you’re sweating throw a little perfume on it and call it a day life too expensive (this doesn’t apply if you’re sweating if you’re sweating please wash ts)
