My bf and I are going to another one of his friends weddings where a bunch of his friends will be and I’m so happy for the couple but my heart is so heavy bc it feels like a reminder that I’m incapable of making friends and ill never have that experience

It feels like I am haha. I graduated college in August without making a single friend outside of him and I guess I just was really betting on the “college is where you make lifelong friends” thing because that’s where my boyfriend met all his friends and all their girlfriends/fiances/wives are friends as well but I don’t really know them since they graduated a few years before me.

i’m in college rn and i have some friends but honestly i’m not sure i’ll make any lifelong friends and i just learned to be ok with that. that just means my people will come later in life. im still young and just because other people’s paths look different than mine doesn’t mean i won’t have what they have too
