Anyone who’s against interracial dating is ridiculous. If you as a person wouldn’t be interracially that’s fine but trying to project your beliefs on everybody else is absolutely not OK. I also think that there’s room to acknowledge interracial dating can create unsafe situations for people sometimes.

You’re 100% right. People have every right to choose who they want to date & why- but don’t u dare to to tell other people who to love or mingle with. How ignorant? Like we’re all here on 1 planet to mingle. & you’re 100% right there is situations where there is safety issues on both sides sometimes- bc some ppl do have racist family members, but it’s never okay or sensible to assume anything abt a stranger.

& yes there is a form of ppl who do mix races & are STILL racist themselves, I’ve seen it plenty before on BOTH sides. But that’s not something you can assume abt ppl & it doesn’t give anyone the right to be against all inter racial dating esp for OTHER ppl

I’m black and I’m in predominantly white area. The amount of people who have made strange commentary to me for being interested in white guys is absolutely ridiculous. I’m talking “he would never date you” and all other sorts of crazy shit. Like, I’m sorry we live in an area where there’s mostly white guys available. Am I just supposed to not date because they’re not the same race as me?
