Honestly yeah, I have 😭 been fetishized a bit for being “crazy” (maybe I am by some standards but I literally just had ocd, ptsd, and agitated depression the times it’s happened), and I’ve also been fetishized for my ethnicity but in a way that exaggerates it beyond what I feel I can even claim if that makes sense? It’s also racist because there’s this stigma behind black women being overly masculine no matter how feminine they present (kind of like how Asian men are “feminine” no matter how masculine they are to men sometimes)

And I think the issue is literally rooted in them watching too much porn 🙄. The only thing they know about black/asian people is “BBC” or “submissive Asian woman” so they kind of conjure up this idea in their head of what ALL black people or ALL Asian people are/behave like. They only know BBC so all black people are masculine to them. They only know “submissive Asian woman” so all Asian people are feminine to them.

Him bc I don’t really count as a woman of color bc I’m half white and almost completely white passing. Once he told me he couldn’t be racist bc he was dating a “woman of color” and I had to have a whole conversation with him about he can’t say fucking any of that 💀

One of my best friends is also fetishized bc people assume she’s trans but she’s cisgender, just Slavic and has a strong bone structure. She’s definitely not offended by it bc trans women are beautiful but like she’s told me about times she’d go out and dance with a guy at a club for a bit until they say some terrible fetishizing shit to her bc they thought she was trans. You’re definitely not alone in this experience
