It’s a combined issue of the dogs and the owners imo, the dogs are often a genetic train wreck and the owners often treat the dogs like a baby and don’t give the dogs proper training and grooming. Poodles are much higher drive dogs than a lot of ppl expect, and then crossing them with high energy breeds like labs, goldens, or aussies exacerbates it. A lot of doodle breeders are puppy mills and backyard breeders and don’t produce quality dogs too I’ve met plenty of lovely doodles and owners tho!
They make great dogs if you put in the time finding a good breeder and training them. They are more prone to aggression or unpredictable temperament since they are mixed breeds (vs a purebred dog having a more predictable temper/behavior) but plenty of it comes from poor training at home too. I know a girl who has a doodle as her service dog and she’s wonderful! They’re just higher maintenance than a lot of people realize
