It’s almost 11 at night, I have work in the morning, and im already in my jammies, is it worth driving 20 min out of town to attempt to see the northern lights tonight? I live in northern sd so odds are high

I’d say it was worth it!! I tried to get a picture of it because it was only showing up on cameras where I’m at, but I couldn’t figure out how to work night mode and long exposure 😔

I couldn’t see it without my camera either, I just played around with settings until it looked pretty
