It makes me feel weird bc I’m nervous about perceiving myself as more “grown up” but my parents act like I’m wearing stripper clothes

My parents used to comment on my clothes a lot growing up👎🏼 I think just sitting down w them and talking to them abt how the comments make u feel is probably the best way to handle it if ur parents are reasonable ppl. Mine were not as much and communicating that their comments were unappreciated was much more difficult

They commented a lot when I was in high school, especially my dad, and tend to comment whenever I visit but I’ll usually just tell him I didn’t dress for him nor did I ask his input ngl

My mom basically calls me a slut and a hoe and I barely wear anything revealing I get it
