i had a job at a boba place put me on the schedule while i was still in the interview and then they fired me after two days and never told me why… still haven’t gotten my check

i looked up the laws in wv for this bc i was curious when it happened and it said that i should be paid by the next pay period which has now come and gone so i texted them asking about my check and they just said to go to the cashier and ask for it (they’re so odd why would they do that)
