How are people around my age already getting engaged and having children? I feel like it’s getting more common to do this at a younger age now

It’s not more common to do this at a younger age now lol. It used to be common but ppl are slowly getting older before having kids. But since it was the norm for so long it’s not unusual to see ppl still doing that

cause they started dating early got in long term relationships early so everything else is following pace

Some people I know are getting engaged after a month or three of knowing each other . It’s different if they’ve known each other for years but idk, maybe I’m not woke

If people are having kids with no jobs and living in the dorms , then idk. But I’ve seen people get engaged in high school and college after a few months so I think things just change over time. It’s obviously different if people are getting engaged if they’ve been dating for a long time now and having kids with financial stability

The trend of ppl waiting to commit is a new one. Being quicker to marry and have children regardless of financial status is an older trend that never fully faded out
