i’ve made flash cards, go over practice problems the ta makes (with and without her), i’ve made my own and did them with the ta or my study group (they also make individual problems), i watch linkedin learning videos (only lecture we get in one class), yt vids my prof makes, do the extra assignments in cegage, read the textbooks and mark things to ask questions on. i ho over my hw one on one with profs and get their tips/ answers, in the study groups we all take one concept and explain it
okay those are all good study ideas! i have a couple extra strategies i like to recommend based off what you’re already doing. 1. study based on past assignments! focus on questions you got wrong and only move on once you understand why the correct answer is correct AND why your answer was wrong so you won’t repeat mistakes 2. i love making mind maps. my favorite style is to make like an umbrella bubble map where i start broad and get more specific to connect content together (1)
and test understanding and then my personal favorite 3. start recording your own videos!! talk through content from memory for yourself and no one else has to see it but you can play it back and see where you’re less knowledgeable. i personally like to pretend im explaining stuff to like a 6th grader because you have to make the material very clear and concise
