For those wondering, what OP is talking about here is called "cribbing" and this is a pretty good description of it. They will do it on any darn surface and it's why, whenever we used to host riding days at a place l used to work at, we'd always tell people "Don't park close to the horse paddock" Every time someone didn't listen and they came back o find the side panel of their '09 mustang had been munched on.
