im the op on the last one and YES. boys should never get between your friendships unless there was some insane circumstance but most of the time the friends are innocent bystanders who get dropped over their friend getting into a relationship

my best friend of 10 years left me at a concert by myself because she complained about back issues. the whole time she was just texting and facetiming her boyfriend. ever since she got him, she neglected me and our plans were never the same because her mind was always elsewhere with him. i confronted her about it only for her to tell me that she wants a low maintenance relationship because it’s hard keeping up with school and her new boyfriend 💀 broke my heart in so many ways.
