Deciding not to raise my kids in religion was the best decision I've made. And when my finance told his hyper religious family I never felt more proud of him.
I don’t mean this negatively I’m just curious: do you still celebrate Christmas or other religious holidays that have commercial counterparts?

I celebrate Christmas as a time of giving and caring, but not a religious manner. I celebrate it more as a pre new years celebration as a conclusion of the year and a guide into the new one. To be grateful for the year I've had.
