no… you can also turn back around and tell those same people that choosing to have kids is also selfish. most people have them for selfish reasons even if it’s not from a negative standpoint.

Nah it’s not selfish, if anything a good portion of people have kids for selfish reasons (I want someone to take care of me when I’m old, I want someone to love me unconditionally, I want a mini me running around, I want to feel fulfilled, etc.)
