Why would you genuinely stereotype a group of people based on how they want to represent themselves…? Idk I just feel like anyone who makes these assumptions are contradicting themselves.

I feel like it’s pointless to go through life with so many assumptions for so many different groups of people. Just treat and judge people by their own individual actions, you know?

It's an inbuilt survival function of human brains to make endless assumptions about our environment and the people in it. You and every human on earth does it subconsciously pretty much any time you're around (or even thinking about) other people

So what you're saying is kinda meaningless: We all make assumptions (conscious and subconscious) all the time. What really matters is what we do with those assumptions

Yeah and what she’s doing is deciding that everyone in frats, who plays video games, or who is blonde/ tan to say the N Word. That’s a silly use of assumption- i feel your argument is pointless conjecture

#2 really said you shouldn't make assumptions about frat bros and incels 😭 keep in mind many frats are HISTORICALLY racist (as in they were used to get around anti-segregation laws) and many still maintain racist practices/prejudices/hazing. several anti-greek-life movements exist for this very reason. not to mention the high perpetration of r**e and sexual assault/battery among frat members

Well you’re alone in that because I hear things like that and don’t actually take it seriously, why can’t we judge people by their individuality

you're not special buddy. you, like every human on earth, make assumptions constantly about everything. that's literally what the human brain is built to do - make predictions for survival based on incomplete information. you stereotype and judge groups and individuals just like everybody else. you just don't like *certain* judgements

I know I’m not special, but people like this OP def are special. Assumptions are normal I never said they weren’t but that doesn’t mean you should actively encourage them. Everyone wants people to live each other but then people like this go out in the world and not give people a chance based on hair and skin color? People ask for unity and yet you just create further division.

girl u obviously didn’t read my full post or something 😭 i said i dont treat ppl based on this assumption and when did i encourage them literally just by stating mine? u can say whatever u want but ur not changing my opinion and before u say anything i didnt come here to change yours. also didn’t mention anything about somebodies real skin color i said FAKE tan pls

I never said you treated people based on one, but having enough energy to put it online is comical in a sense. I’m not here to change your opinion, you stated yours as I stated mine. And it doesn’t matter if you said fake tan, you are insinuating white blonde girls. How’s this not based?
